$250 “Donut Hole” Rebate (2010)

If you had Medicare prescription drug coverage and had to pay for your drugs in the “donut hole” coverage gap in 2010, you received a one-time, tax-free $250 rebate from Medicare to help pay for your prescriptions. 

Note: This rebate does not apply in 2011 or beyond.
