Webchat on How the Affordable Care Act Affects Women & Families Subscribe to RSS Feed

Actress, women’s health advocate, and President of the Cancer Schmancer Movement Fran Drescher recently joined HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and MomsRising National Campaign Director Donna Norton for a webchat to talk about what the Affordable Care Act means for women and families, including new rules on coverage of preventive care.

The questions came directly from the MomsRising community on a range of topics - from new preventive services available to help detect illnesses to the new rule that will allow some young adults under the age of 26 to stay on their parents' plans.
