Are you uninsured? Do you have a pre-existing condition?

If your answer is yes to both questions, you may be eligible for the Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan—a new federal program for children and adults who have been uninsured for at least 6 months, have a pre-existing condition, and can’t find health insurance.

If you want to know more about the Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan, you can call toll free 1-866-717-5826 (TTY 1-866-561-1604). The PCIP Call Center is open from 8 A.M. to 11 P.M. Eastern Time. Or visit www.pcip.gov and click on “Find Your State.” Select your state from a map of the United States or from a drop-down menu for information about how to apply.

For more information on other sources of health coverage that may be available to you, please go to www.healthcare.gov.
