New York Consumer Assistance

New York State’s Consumer Assistance Program is run by the non-profit Community Service Society of New York (CSS) under a contract with the State’s Department of Health. CSS operates a statewide network of 24 community-based non-profit organizations, known as Community Health Advocates (CHA).
