Marketplace coverage means peace of mind

The Health Insurance Marketplace® is making it easier to find quality, affordable coverage. Millions of Americans are getting covered, many for the first time.
More than 3 million have enrolled in private health insurance since October and 6.3 million were determined eligible for Medicaid or coverage in the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
And most people who apply will be eligible for help paying for health coverage. Nearly 6 in 10 uninsured Americans can pay less than $100 per month for Marketplace coverage.
Giving Moms peace of mind
The Marketplace is giving Moms peace of mind and families are already benefitting from new rights and protections.
More than 3 million young adults under age 26 are covered on their parent’s plan. When they turn 26, young adults can shop for new coverage options in the Marketplace.
Young adults may qualify for lower costs on monthly premiums or out-of-pocket costs for private insurance. And catastrophic coverage plans are available if you’re under 30.
Insurances companies can’t deny or drop anyone in your family from coverage because of a pre-existing condition like asthma, back pain, or cancer.
Preventive care like cancer screenings and contraception are now covered with no out-of-pocket costs. This includes 22 covered preventive services for women and 25 covered services for children.
