Some life changes can affect your coverage and how much you save on your Marketplace plan. If you have a life change, like moving or getting married, let us know as soon as possible. You may qualify for a
to enroll in or change plans.

What changes should I report?
There are 4 types of
you should report to the Marketplace:
- Loss of health coverage, like losing job-based coverage or Medicaid or Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) eligibility.
- Household changes, like getting married or divorced, birthing or adopting a child, or a death in the family.
- Moving to a new ZIP code, county, or state.
- Other qualifying life events, like income changes or becoming a U.S. citizen.
How do I report changes?
- Online: Log in to update your Marketplace application.
- Phone: Call 1-800-318-2596 (TTY: 1-855-889-4325) and a representative can help you update your application.
- In person: Find someone in your community who can help you make changes.
