When life changes, let us know

Some life changes can affect your coverage and how much you save on your Marketplace plan. If you have a life change, like moving or getting married, let us know as soon as possible. You may qualify for a
to enroll in or change plans.

What changes should I report?

There are 4 types of
you should report to the Marketplace:
  • Loss of health coverage, like losing job-based coverage or Medicaid or Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) eligibility.
  • Household changes, like getting married or divorced, birthing or adopting a child, or a death in the family. 
  • Moving to a new ZIP code, county, or state.
  • Other qualifying life events, like income changes or becoming a U.S. citizen.
